What is the SU2C Ugly Sweater Campaign?

Throughout December, you may notice an abnormal increase in gloriousness. There are two reasons for this:

1. The inherent majesty of large numbers of people wearing their ugliest holiday sweaters for days on end.
2. The warm glow these people get when pledging to raise donations this holiday season to benefit Stand Up To Cancer – a groundbreaking initiative created to accelerate innovative cancer research and save lives now.

HOW CAN I JOIN THE UGLY SWEATER EXTRAVAGANZA?

There are two ways for you to participate, with 100% of the funds raised going directly to support SU2C's cutting-edge cancer research:

1. Commit to wearing an ugly sweater between 1 and 31 days during December. Challenge your friends to support you for each day you dare to wear. Friends' pledges can be any amount, from a dollar a day on up… every donation helps! Wear it for as long as you would like – anywhere from one day to the entire month. You'll also earn some sweet merch depending on how much you raise.
2. Throw an Ugly Sweater Party. Build your party profile, where you can pick a date and a fundraising goal, then send out your invitations (don't worry, you can earn the sweet SU2C merch too!). Guests can pay a suggested donation online or at the door. Checks are also acceptable and can be sent to us here.

You'll also have a chance to submit your ugly sweater pics to our photo contest for a chance to win some cool SU2C gear.
